420 Celebration Featuring 3rd Chamber + Select Sound System
Join us at afterthoughts for a special 4/20 celebration featuring 3rd Chamber and Select Sound System.
3rd Chamber is a genre-defying project comprised of Sed One, I Rhymes, and DJ Kanga, bringing a live-mixtape style set that moves freely through hip hop, reggae, dub, jungle, drum and bass, dubstep, house, and beyond. What began as a series of experimental performances has evolved into its own project built around improvisation, deep rhythms, and genre-blurring sound.
Select Sound System is a six-piece live hip hop, reggae, and funk fusion band featuring Sed One, I Rhymes, Daiki Hirano, Ben Dunham, Robinson Morse, and Jonas Eno-Van Fleet. Known for high-energy performances and conscious lyricism, the group brings an immersive sound system experience to stages across Vermont. Formed as an evolving collective rather than just a band, Select Sound System transforms each performance into a unique event, blending live musicianship with DJ culture to keep the dance floor moving all night long.
With a mission to uplift and inspire, the group delivers music as medicine for the mind, body, and soul.

The Shady Trees are a four piece band formed in 2013 in amazing Lamoille County Vermont. Their energy-rich mountainous style blends Funk, Rock, Reggae, and Twang into what they call Northeast Mountain Music.
Each member played in multiple VT bands spanning every genre of music and gigging as much as possible. But it wasn't until brothers Jesse (7lbs of Pork, Charles Candy) and Micah Sanguedolce (The Aerolites, Domestic Blend) decided to combine forces.
With the addition of Jason Whipkey (Charles Candy) on Bass and Zack Alario on Drums the band has a solid, dynamic rhythm section with tight hits and explosive jams.
As the band continues to write new material, they are currently involved in finishing up a new album to be released in early 2026.
